Xadia privacy notice
Xadia is a Hypixel blacklist for the Cubelify overlay, run from the Xadia Discord server. This notice explains what personal data Xadia keeps, why, for how long, and how to see or remove it.
What we keep
About Minecraft players who are tagged, reported or tracked:
- Minecraft UUID and username (IGN)
- The tag (for example Hacker or Sniper), its reason, when it was added and by whom
- Evidence (clips, screenshots, links) in a staff-only forum
- Leaderboard history: when a player disappeared from one of Hypixel's public leaderboards
- The current top 100 of Hypixel's public leaderboards, which the website shows
- The public Hypixel profile of players looked up (their stats, and the social links they have chosen to show on it), kept for up to 40 days so pages load without asking Hypixel again and can show how a player's stats changed over a day, a week or a month
About Discord users who use Xadia:
- Discord user ID and username
- API keys you create and how often they're used
- Your permission level (Member, Trusted, Admin)
- Reports you make, votes you cast, tags you add or edit
- The Minecraft account you link when you verify
- A log of actions taken with the bot
- If you log in to the website with Discord: your Discord ID, name and avatar, and which players' pages you open (kept for 30 days). A cookie keeps you logged in for 30 days from your last visit; logging out removes it.
We don't keep passwords or email addresses, and we never ask for your own Hypixel API key. The web server's logs record the IP address of each request to the website and API. They're kept for 14 days and aren't linked to your Discord account. The website counts its visitors each day using a one-way code made from the address with a secret that changes daily, so the address itself isn't kept and nobody can be followed from one day to the next.
Why
To help players avoid cheaters and snipers, by sharing reports of cheating in Hypixel games, reviewed by trusted members. We rely on legitimate interests (keeping games fair and the blacklist accurate and accountable). Tags are reviewed: public reports need evidence and are voted on before they count.
Who sees it
- Tags (type, reason, and who added them unless hidden) are shown to anyone using the Xadia API, including through Cubelify, and in Discord.
- Reports and their evidence are shown in the Xadia Discord server.
- Evidence posts and logs are visible only to Trusted members and admins.
- Xadia's admins can see who has opened which players' pages on the website while logged in.
- Xadia runs on a server in the United Kingdom and uses Discord, Mojang and Hypixel to work.
How long
Tags stay until they expire or are removed. Other records are kept while they're needed to run the blacklist and handle disputes.
Your rights
You can ask to see your data, correct it, delete it, or object to it being used.
To make a request, message an admin in the Xadia Discord server. That includes asking about a tag on your Minecraft account that you think is wrong. We'll reply within one month.
You can also complain to the Information Commissioner's Office (ico.org.uk).
